Her Work by Design™ Newsletter - 4th Edition

TGIM! One of the things I love most about being a services based entrepreneur is the creative process.  I literally get to create whatever I want to create. I don’t need to ask permission.

For example, I got the intuitive hit to create a magazine style brochure rather than a boring, typical sales page for my masterclass this week. The idea came to me and I could begin immediately.

I didn’t have to ask anyone permission. I just created it.  It was fun to create, I am excited to share it this week with my masterclass attendees. I wanted to give those interested in working with or learning from me, a fun, unique way of learning about my services.  And Clarity Magazine was created.

When I was at IBM, if I had an idea, I had to get 5 layers of approval over months to get something done.  

TGIM and I get to create.  What are you creating?

The Podcast Niche Evolution

Today’s episode of the podcast is all about the niche evolution and how 5.5 years of podcasting reflecting the evolution.   

The podcast has changed names many times as my niche has evolved. But here is the secret, the only reason my niche evolved is because I did. And I also gave myself permission to follow my own mission:

To do work that I loved.

I could have stayed with being a life coach for divorced moms. I probably could have made that niche a multiple million dollar niche.  But my inner guidance system was saying “no, this is not the final destination.”

I am sharing this process and story on the podcast for anyone that is like me and is dedicated to loving the work that they do. I want you to know that you can give yourself permission to evolve, to create and to pivot.  

In fact, it is the beauty of being a services based entrepreneur.
